We encourage our members to get out into the countryside and operate HF in the field. Our first “Field” event will be Saturday, 22nd April, coincidently Earth Day, and we will then follow up with dates for May-September (maybe even October).
So, put the date in your diary, dust off your mobile transceiver, check your battery power, test out your poles and aerials, unpack the picnic blanket, etc. etc. in preparation for a fun day out.
The intention is to try and work with other club members who will either be participating in the field or supporting from the shack. Any non-club members would be a bonus.
